It is coming up to exam season, and with teens fully engaged in revision sessions, what are the best ways of helping your students to do their best in the upcoming exams?
The first thing any teacher will want to do is check when all the exams are – if you have a form group who are taking exams this summer, get a big wall calendar and mark on when each exam is. This can be displayed in class so the rest of the students know exactly how much time is left to revise!
Another idea is to host a revision skills workshop. Lots of subject teachers will have drilled into their students exactly what to expect in the exam, but not so often the best ways to remember the information! Hosting a form time revision skills session can help your students to learn different ways to revise and perhaps find other people who learn in the same way as them.
